The purpose of God is that He would be praised among all the peoples of the world. So we live as a church to see Him praised among all the peoples of the world. This is why we must have, as Cross Roads, a priority on getting the gospel—not just to people right around us, but also far from us. It’s because Jesus has commanded us this way.

We believe in reaching out to our community right here at home. We do this through partnering with area schools, businesses, and much more. We believe in serving our local community through our Vacation Bible School, concerts, outreaches, etc.

TENTATIVE SCHEDULE
12 DAY SCHEDULE
Day 1 - Rally in ATL and depart for Malawi; First stop - Johannesburg, Africa (arrive on day 2 in the afternoon)
Day 2 - Spend the night in Joburg.
Day 3 - Depart for Malawi after breakfast (arrive in Malawi mid-day)
Day 4, 5, 6, 7 - Work In the villages with Activities, Games, Bible Studies, Crafts for Children; Worship for Adults and studies for Men and Ladies; Lunch in the Village; More of the same in the afternoon; Return to the Lodge
Day 8 - Meeting and Tour of Vocational School and Health Clinic
Day 9, 10, 11 - Teaching/Preaching/Sharing at Global Harvest School of Mission
Day 11 - Debrief in the evening. Be thinking of a snapshot of a highlight of the week, that will stand out to share with the group
Day 12 - Depart morning for Joburg, Land mid-day, depart for USA late evening
Day 13 - Land early morning back in the USA
The fixed ON THE GROUND COST is $1000.00 per person
(covers room/board, transportation, meals)
The majority of the remaining cost is airfare:
Ticket from US to Africa usually is around $2000.
Ticket from Joburg to Malawi is usually around $800.
