Jack has been serving in ministry leadership since 1989.  He has served on church staff as a youth pastor, worship leader, associate pastor, and church planter.  Jack served in partnership with the North American Mission Board for seven years by helping produce the Kaleo Conference, an event aimed at helping students hear God’s voice to ministry leadership. Jack graduated from Gardner-Webb in 1991 and has his Masters in Ministry from Anderson University. His wife, Lynette (a published author) is the apple of his eye, his daughter Lauryn (a law student at Regent) is his princess, and his son Will (a junior at Palmetto College) is his hero. He and his family live in Five Forks.

Heath received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Studies from North Greenville College in 1999. He came to Cross Roads in May 1998 after serving as a youth ministry intern at his home church (Bethlehem Baptist Church, Roebuck) for 2 years. Heath is passionate about seeing students come to find Freedom when they receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. He enjoys watching the spiritual transformation in student’s lives as they move from being a middle school student to becoming a high school graduate. He loves spending time and intentionally building stronger relationships with his adult leaders and students to help disciple them. He loves spending time with his family. He also enjoys Clemson Tigers football, golf, fishing, coaching football, and hanging out with students. Heath is married to Lacey Doughty Carruth and they have two daughters, Olivia and Claire

Kayla studied at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia where she received a BA in Religion: Church Ministries. Being raised as an Army Brat and becoming a believer as a young child she has seen the impact children’s ministry has around the world. She has a love for children that come from all backgrounds. Seeing these children come to Christ and feel the love that only our Heavenly Father can provide is her mission both in the church and with her own family. She loves showing Jesus on a personal level with the children while providing age-appropriate learning. Kayla has a husband, Tyler, as well as two young daughters, Lillian and Madeline. She loves spending time with her family, staying active, and peanut m&ms.

Ashley has a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. She has taught preschool for over 20 years and has been a member of Cross Roads Baptist church since 1996. She is passionate about children and introducing them to the Savior at an early age. She wants to help children get a jump start to a great education. Ashley believes that a successful future hinges on a relationship with Jesus. Outside of weekday preschool and church, Ashley enjoys spending time with her family. She has been married to her husband Ken for over 20 years and has two boys, Andy and Bryant. Ashley loves to play games and is a little competitive! God has blessed her with a great family and church. She considers it a true blessing to be able to do what she is passionate about every day.

Janice has been a member of Cross Roads Baptist since 1971. She has been ministry assistant (aka secretary) for 34 years with almost 30 years as financial secretary. She and her husband, Richard, have been married for 50 years.

Kathleen is a member of Five Forks Baptist Church where she is part of the Women’s Ministry Committee, a member of the Daughters of the King Sunday School class, and facilitator of a monthly ladies’ group. She holds two degrees from Clemson University and has two adult sons, Seth & Sam, who also graduated from Clemson. Needless to say, they are Tiger fans all the way! Kathleen accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior as a teenager and loves Him with all of her heart. She loves praise & worship music, taking walks, spending time with friends, and going out to eat!
