THE YOUNG AT HEART GROUP OF CROSS ROADS BAPTIST CHURCH

This group consists of Senior Citizens who are 60-plus years of age.
Our goal is to maintain healthy bodies & minds to be useful in serving the Lord each day. We encourage others to visit & enjoy interesting & exciting programs, trips, food & fun as we honor God in all things!
Beginning in April, 2011, our meeting dates will be the third Friday of each month at 11 a.m. in the Family Life Center at the church. If a trip or luncheon is planned the hour & location will be announced in the Church bulletin on the Sunday prior to the trip date.
We welcome new members at all times regardless of age. We invite you to visit & see how much fun we have while honoring our Lord at Cross Roads. If you have questions feel free to call Barbara Massengale (864) 288-0710 or the Church Office (864) 288-1626.
Some activities are:
* Meeting at church with guest speakers, including those in the medical field who provide helpful information regarding health issues.
* Day trips to mountains with picnics in the park.
* Lunch meetings at local restaurants.
* Barbershop Quartets.
* Speakers from local Fire & Police Departments (giving safety tips).
* Financial advisors who present helpful insurance coverage.
* Attending Lunch & Learn sessions presented by Greenville Hospital System on new technology & procedures available & much more!
