We will receive a love offering for the Dean family who recently lost their house to fire. If you would like to give, please mark your envelope Love Offering. Greetings Friends and Family!

My name is Michael Sheehan and I approve this message! I bet you have heard plenty of that kind of talk lately! Right? Wait… Before you turn me off or hang up on me…let me use this as an introduction to a very important message and welcome to you this morning. The Bible tells us of a special event called the transfiguration. During this amazing event found in Mark 9:2-13, a voice from heaven said: “This is my beloved Son, whom I love, listen to him.”

What is God telling us in the very same words today? Listen to Jesus!

I approve this message! It is for you from Me!”

Today, I urge everyone to receive this message. Listen! Jesus will be speaking to your heart. What can our prayer be this morning? “Speak Lord for your servant is listening”

COLLIDE area-wide youth service is February 15^th at Standing Springs Baptist Church. Will leave CRBC at 6:00 pm and return by 8:30 pm.

Mission Trip Opportunities…
New York City
Lou Ann Jenkins will be going to New York City to minister to the children in Brooklyn April 7-14. If you wish to help with her expenses please mark an envelope NYC Mission and place it inthe offering plate.
Alabama
A short mission trip in February is in the planning to assist with recently damaged areas around Birmingham. This will be a 2-3 day trip consisting of clearing debris and distribution of needed goods. A signup sheet will be on the bulletin board. Sonny Callahan (901-6947) or Case Jenkins. (444-0972).
Brazil
A mission trip to Brazil is planned for those interested (15 years and older). The trip is in conjunction with Hope for Brazil/Rocky Creek Baptist July 17 – 29, 2012. Total cost approximately $2,150.00. Construction, Bible clubs, sports ministry, women’s and teens outreach. Signup sheet on bulletin board. Contact Sonny Callahan (297-7846 or 901-6947)
