Our Doctrine: We believe the Bible to be the inspired and authoritative Word of God. It is without error and serves as the basis for all our beliefs. This church accepts “The Baptist Faith and Message (click here)”, the 2000 statement adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention, as a general statement of faith. Our Government: We believe the church is a “Theocracy.” Christ is the Head of His Church and leads through Godly leaders that meet Biblical qualifications. We are a Pastor-led church and entrust our pastoral staff and deacons as shepherds who oversee the direction and vision of our church’s ministry.
Every active/resident member shall have the right to vote on the following matters:
Ministerial Staff
The Annual Church Budget
The Election of Officers
The acquisition of property and indebtedness
Amendments to the Constitution and By-laws of the church
Any important recommendation brought to the church’s attention by our various committees during a called business meeting.
Our Philosophy and Ministry: We believe every member is a minister. According to Ephesians 4, every member has a God-given responsibility to the body of Christ to minister and bear fruit. It is the pastor and staff’s responsibility to help each member discover their spiritual gifts, and then equip and train them to do the work of the ministry.
